The Story
This family came to us with a clear wish: “We want a bathroom that slows us down the moment we get home—clean, elegant, and easy to maintain.” The original space had lots of tile cuts, hard-to-clean grout, and a narrow shower. Our challenge: turn it into a bright, serene spa without sacrificing everyday practicality.

The Concept
We steered the design toward an timeless, calming look: continuous planes, clean glass, and a cool palette warmed just enough so the room feels luxurious—not cold.

People and culture

What You’re Seeing (and why we did it this way)

• Showpiece “calacatta” wall: Large-format porcelain with blue-gray veining. Almost no grout lines → less maintenance and a continuous read that visually enlarges the room.

• Quartz-wrapped soaking tub: Non-porous, durable, and easy to clean; mitered edges for a crisp, architectural profile.

• Frameless tempered-glass shower: airy, luminous feel. We chose polished chrome hardware to bounce light and echo the wall veining.

• Spa water system: rain head + hand shower + body jets for a therapeutic experience.

• Full-length bench inside the shower: real comfort (shaving, skincare) and a continuous line with the tub’s perimeter shelf.

• Discreet mechanical ventilation in the ceiling: comfort without visual noise.

• Warm wood shelves: soften the marble look and bring a welcoming, human touch (towels, candles, greenery).

Palette & Materials

• Base: soft white (walls and quartz).

• Vein: cool gray with bluish notes (calacatta-style porcelain).

• Metals: polished chrome to reflect and multiply light.

• Accents: warm wood on shelving for balance and a “home” feeling.

Details you don’t notice but you feel

• Minimal joints and high-performance sealants so the bathroom ages beautifully.

• Precise slopes and transitions so water drains cleanly—no surprises.

• Reliable valves & fixtures (thermostatic) for stable temperature.

A bathroom that turns the volume down on your day, elevates the home, and stays pristine with little effort. The kind of space you enter out of necessity—and stay for pleasure.
