The Story

This family reached out with a dream: “We want a kitchen that feels open, grand, and fully customized for the way we live and gather.” The original kitchen was undersized for their lifestyle—a closed layout, limited counter space, and little room to host.

Our challenge was to transform it into a 24 x 24 ft. open concept kitchen with a centerpiece island large enough to bring everyone together, without sacrificing elegance or everyday functionality.

The Concept

We designed toward a timeless yet modern aesthetic: a kitchen that radiates warmth and sophistication. Light wood cabinetry and wide-plank flooring bring brightness, while deep navy base cabinets add depth and contrast. A dramatic marble backsplash anchors the room with natural luxury.

The island—fully custom-built—was tailored to the client’s exact needs: storage, seating for six, and a commanding presence that turns cooking into both a performance and a pleasure. Golden pendant lighting completes the atmosphere, adding a subtle glow worthy of a design showcase.
